Dream Lake House Come True
HENDERSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA
Shauna wanted her home to feel like North Carolina: earthy, southern, woody, and outdoorsy. We furnished it with warm wood tones, layered textiles, comfortable seating made for reading by the windows, and original art throughout, plus a porch set up for slow mornings over the lake.
Getting there took patience. Shauna and her husband had already ordered their furniture when the sale on their first house fell through. Our team got on the phone with the manufacturers, canceled what we could, held the pieces she could still use, and stayed with her until she found the right home. Today it’s a place where, in her words, “our guests feel super comfortable.”
“We wanted to think about a more modern but yet rustic refined and elegant and clean-lined furniture. So we had that base and everything we chose went along those lines”
